It is a complicated matter, sir. However, I do not believe it would be inappropriate of me to speculate that he is more sensitive to criticism at this particular time of year than any other.

[He won't ask what it is about this time of year that's bugging Tony. He'd already known it was something, and somehow thinking it was the holidays seems too simple an answer. If he was at home, he could just Google it to get his answer, most likely, and he even might, just to end the stupid back and forth and remove the necessity of Tony having to tell him. But here he can't, so Bruce is left respecting his privacy by not asking JARVIS.]

Should I be doing something? I wouldn't exactly appreciate someone trying to help me in that mood.

If there is something that can be done, I am unaware of what it is. It will pass. It always does. A week from now, perhaps two, he will most likely be back to normal.

I am sorry you have to see him like this. I will attempt to monitor him and prevent further unpleasantness.

It's fine. He doesn't need to be prevented. If he wants to take it out on me, I don't mind. But from experience I don't think it will help.
