Jan. 1st, 2012 09:57 pmDESCRIPTION. Edward Norton. So, about six foot, way too skinny, and leanly muscled (like a runner). Wears glasses to read. Small noticeable scar on his cheek. Frequently haggard, unshaven, and otherwise poor looking.
CONTENT WARNINGS. Bruce canonly attempts suicide at least once, and this may come up in his mental monologue. It is highly unlikely he will speak about it, but some amount of suicidal ideation is probably inevitable in his narrative. On extremely rare occasions his inner narrative may also include reference to child abuse and its lasting impact. If you'd prefer not to have any of this in your tags, let me know and I will keep it out of them, no questions asked.
TRIGGERS. Anything that gets his heart rate above 200 will make him turn into the Hulk. He tries his level best not to get to that point, but strong emotion or extensive physical exertion will do it. I am not against him Hulking out, but it should be planned in advance.
MEDICAL INFO. He has permanent gamma radiation poisoning, so his blood (and presumably other bodily fluids) is toxic. The cells turn weird and green under a microscope, and it's impossible for him to get sick. He wears reading glasses. And finally but most importantly, it is literally impossible to kill him-- he Hulks out before he gets to that point, and upon turning back, all of his injuries are healed. So while he can be injured, being the Hulk will heal him instantly.
MIND READING. I love mind reading, but you're going to run into the Hulk, who is himself immune to it and will not be happy about the intrusion. I'd love to do stuff with this, but it'll be complicated??
FOURTH-WALLING. I have no problem at all with his identity as the Hulk being public information, however much he dislikes it. My only caveat is that if he's forth walled, he's recognized from a comic version, and not from MCU specifically, so as to cut down on existentialist crises.
PHYSICAL CONTACT. It'll make him nervous but I'm fine with it.
ROMANCE/SEXUAL RELATIONS. He's canonly unable to have sex (it'll get his heart rate up and he'll Hulk out) and he's also canonly still in love with Betty, so... that's probably a no go for these in a strict canon interpretation without a lot of build up. You're welcome to try, anyway! In meme settings, I'm okay with M/F and M/M equally.
INJURE/KILL. He gets the shit kicked out of him a lot, so feel free. If it gets to the point where his life is in danger, though, he is going to turn into the Hulk as a self-defense reflex. If you think your character can take him on as the Hulk and still kill him (it is possible, I'm sure), please talk to me first!
DEVICE HACKING. This'll make him incredibly freaked out and paranoid, but he's always freaked out and paranoid, so it's probably not an appreciable difference. :|b Go for it.
THREADJACKING. LOTS OF THIS. I LOVE THIS.
ANYTHING ELSE. No tag is too old or too late or whatever. Seriously. I'll keep tagging no matter how long you take.
